which are only for year1s players
ALL YEAR1s players
BOTH TEAM A & TEAM B.
Please, dear year1 juniors, go for your trainings.
next year you all will be participating in the cdivision zonal tournaments against other westzone schools
and next year is about another 6 more months to go
use this period of time to improve your strokes, footwork, strategies as much as you can
to prepare yourself sufficiently for the tournaments
ONLY this yr's year1s players which are next yr's yr2s players will take part in the cdivision tournaments.
for girls and boys, we have 10 players for each team
we need 7 main players
it's time to think about it now
if you want to be one of the 7, train hard!
dont think that you will never be one of them
even if you may not be one of the 7 main players, sometimes you will also be asked by coach to go into the court and play the match
SO!
everyone must be mentally prepared
and definitely, physically prepared
each game depends on individual strength
each tournament depends on team's effort
if only one person in the team trains hard
we may get that one point from the opponent team
but what about the other 4 points to win the tournament?
THUS!
we need everyone to train
achieve a similar&balanced standard among all
so that, we can win the other 4 points from the opponent too!
next,
my second point would be
going for trainings is not what i solely hope to see in everyone
if you decide to go trainings, put your heart and mind into it
it's a training, remember
the time that you should use to improve& strengthen yourself
you have a part to play in this sport
dun be disheartened by any games that you lose to your peers
it's okay to lose
as long as you strive to do better the next time
and try to avoid making the same mistakes in th future games
must keep reminding yourself
this sport requires lotsa mental strength
never give up even if you lag behind opponent by alot of points
cannot be demoralised
the fighting spirit must be there
tell yourself to continue to fight
put in yout utmost best performance
to minimise the difference!
sees your stronger peer as a goal
train and work hard to be on par with him/her
be determined to beat him/her one day
never ever feel lousy
people always aim to go up not down
surely there will be ppl stronger than you even if you may be known as the strongest badminton player in the world
others may be stronger in terms of mental, strategies etc.
therefore,
never ever think tht you will never win that person
fighting spirit really brings about great motivation during a game
this is an inidividual strength
it all depends on yourself
others cannot change you
you have to tell yourself
keep encouraging yourself
we certainly need everyone to attend trainings frequently to maintain standard and not let it go down the slope
this ensures the team's overall strength
every player is committed
and responsible for the team
this is team effort
train together and help each other in improving themselves by telling them their problems, mistakes and suggest what they can and should do.
everyone learns together
and works together towards a common goal - to win something for the badminton team
that's what a team should be like
